The Security and Defense Initiatives Platform launches the “Information Campaign on Security and Defense Issues.” The Republic of Moldova is facing a series of challenges, which are fueled by disinformation, especially in the areas of security and defense. Thus, we found it appropriate to launch an information campaign on security and defense topics, with the aim of promoting a security culture and increasing the informational resilience of citizens in matters of security.
Through this project, we aim to:
- we counteract existing stereotypes regarding the security and defense sector;
- we combat misinformation in the field of security and defense;
- we promote the benefits of the Republic of Moldova’s multilateral and bilateral cooperation in the field of security and defense;
- we are raising the security culture and the level of awareness of security needs
- we promote messages in support of national interests in the field of security and defense.
The campaign is part of the project “Combating Disinformation and Refuting Fake News in the Republic of Moldova,” implemented by the Security and Defense Initiatives Platform (PISA), with the financial support of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Moldova (KAS).
